For over 25 years, Matthew Higginson built a career in the home/fashion industry as a window designer, traveling the world and collaborating with some of the most iconic names in fashion, including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, and Williams Sonoma. However, his greatest pride and joy is his family. Married to his brilliant and talented wife for 22 years, he's also the proud dad of three amazing children, and two adorable grandchildren.
Founded in 2023, Matthew Scott Designs brings together Matthew's passion for design, woodworking, and meticulous craftsmanship. Specializing in custom-designed mirrors, the studio offers a diverse selection of sizes, shapes and materials, including fabric, wood, grasscloth and other natural finishes. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to enhance any space. Additionally, Matthew provides expert fine art installation, going beyond simply hanging artwork. He works closely with clients to determine ideal placement, incorporating color theory, symmetry vs. asymmetry, scale, height, and balance for a perfectly curated display. At Matthew Scott Designs the mission is simple: to bring beauty into your home and create timeless pieces that offer a lifetime of enjoyment.
